Wonderful place. Unfortunately the Tundra Swans do not come here in great numbers like they used to back in 2001 and before due to the lake having been silted from a big rain. Attempts at restoration have not been very successful.
What a beautiful site. Great handicap access. The lake has so many bird species and is also a spectacular migration site, with thousands of birds passing through. Camping available. Mississippi river bluffs within sight!
Gorgeous little roadside park. Wonderful area to view migrating birds.
You can't fish because the water is full of trees and only 6" deep, it's to close to the hwy.
The views here are wonderful. We enjoyed watching birds and wildlife. I love that there is a Little Free Library there, too!
